London – C4i, part of the Digital Rights Group, has signed a raft of deals with broadcasters in Asian territories, announced Christina Willoughby, managing director of C4i. The sales will see more than 120 hours of programming, from a wide variety of genres, set for broadcast throughout Asia. Said Nicola Richards, programme sales executive, “This is a substantial number of acquisitions, for both new and catalogue C4i titles and with new and existing clients. The volume of hours acquired and the variety of titles is an indication of the ongoing international appeal of our programming.”
