Singapore – BBC World News announced the renewal of its partnership with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, with the commissioning of a second series of the travel programme The Real Cities. The ad-funded, weekly five-part series commences on August 30 on BBC World News. Worldwide viewers will have additional opportunities to watch the programme at primetime slots in each overseas market. Carolyn Gibson, vice president, ad sales, EMEA for BBC Worldwide says, “We are thrilled that InterContinental Hotels & Resorts have chosen to partner with us again, following the success of the first series of The Real Cities.” Available to 78 million weekly BBC World News viewers around the globe, the new episodes of The Real Cities visit the cities of Cairo, Milan, Stockholm, Hanoi and San Francisco and features well known local personalities.
