Seoul – FCCE Distribution has opened an Asia Pacific office in Singapore, offering distribution and consultancy services, and providing movie-related content services and international formats. Chief commercial officer Justus Verkerk told Television Asia Plus that the Singapore office will be followed by Tokyo in October. Apart from FCCE (Film Content Company Europe), the company founded Newhaven Productions, and extensive on-line property filmsandstars.com is slated for launch in October 2008. Verkerk addressed the BCWW Conference 2008 in Seoul. Also at the Exhibition were international sales director Alan Green and Singapore-based sales director Ben Heng. Formerly an executive with IDTV, then All3 Media, Verkerk teamed with renowned entertainment journalist Rene Mioch to form FCCE – exploiting Mioch’s 10,000-hour archive of Hollywood-related celebrity interviews, awards and red carpet events spanning 25 years. With a proven track-record in the Dutch and international market, FCCE presents high-quality programming with solid ratings and business cases for all media: broadcasters, digital & VOD channels, ISPs, mobile platforms, narrowcasters.
