Hong Kong – Celestial Pictures has been invited to screen the mobile title Kung Fu Tutorial – The 8 Diagram Pole at the MIPCOM’s Mobile & Internet Screenings Selection on Monday 13 October 2008. This submission is the only work representing Greater China to be selected for this year’s screening in the ‘Mobile TV & Film Projects’ category. In 2007, Celestial Pictures submitted King Boxer mobisodes series and won the ‘Best Short Film Originally Created or Repurposed For Mobile”at the MIPCOM Mobile and Internet TV Award.’ Kung Fu Tutorial – The 8 Diagram Pole is a two-minute martial arts tutorial featuring “bite-size”segments of kung fu film clips and performance from a kung fu master from the Celestial’s Shaw Brothers masterpiece The Eight Diagram Pole Fighter.
