Singapore – Vice president production at ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) has made a sudden exit from the network. Greene’s motives for leaving are unclear, and ESS have not yet responded to Television Asia Plus’ queries. Baseball fan Greene has been a long-term fixture on the network’s production side. Insiders expressed surprise at his sudden decision to leave, although there has been some internal disgruntlement at ESS’s increased focus on cricket and the Indian subcontinent – at the perceived expense of coverage of other sports.
