Kuala Lumpur – MEASAT announced that Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) has renewed an agreement with MEASAT for the distribution of its services on the MEASAT-3 satellite. “We have had the privilege of supporting RTM with MEASAT-1 C-band capacity for over 10 years and we are delighted to continue this long term relationship with the provision of capacity on the MEASAT-3 satellite,” said Yau Chyong Lim, senior director, sales and marketing, MEASAT. “With an extensive satellite footprint, RTM will be able to distribute its content in over 100 countries across Asia, Australia, Eastern Africa and Eastern Europe”. In addition to supporting RTM’s Television Channels, MEASAT also provides Occasional Usage Services (OUS) and Satellite News Gathering (SNG) services to complement RTM’s existing SNG network.
