London – Endemol Sport, the recently launched sports business within global production company Endemol, and Manchester City Football Club announced a worldwide cross media partnership. Endemol Sport will closely collaborate with Manchester City in developing both the media strategy and the entire media content output for the Club in both domestic and international markets. Endemol Sport and Manchester City will create a ‘Media Hub’, based at the Stadium, which will be integrated into the Club’s marketing and communications teams. Output will include production of ‘Match Day’ coverage and entertainment, international programming and content blocks, online video, press conferences, sports entertainment programming, the creation and publication of newsletters and magazines, as well as international syndication and localization in priority markets. Endemol Sport will also work closely with leading digital creative agency Poke, which has designed and developed a pioneering online global platform for Manchester City fans that will be available initially in Arabic at www.manchestercityfc@ae and in English at www.mcfc.co.uk. Endemol Sport is the new global, multi-media sports business within Endemol that launched at the beginning of 2009. The division is committed to the development, production and delivery of the entire range of sports output, from channel management and event coverage to programming and short form digital content.
