London – FremantleMedia announced that the new dating show Take Me Out Japan is to be launched on national TV network Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) in the important 11.30pm time slot each week. Take Me Out will be the first local adaptation of an international format to go to air on a Japanese TV network as a weekly programme in over three years. Take Me Out Japan will kick off with a 90 minute special episode at 10pm on 29 September 2009 and will then air as a 30 minute weekly show at 11.30pm from October 1.
