Melbourne – NHK and National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) have announced the co-production of Megaquake, a four-part, high-definition special. The mini-series dramatically deconstructs one of the world’s most terrifying natural threats to better understand the science behind these massive tremors and their devastating impact. Megaquake will air on NHK’s flagship NHK Special documentary slot in Japan in the first quarter of 2010, and on National Geographic Channel, as a two-part series, in early 2011.
