Zoo 55 appoints Diane Glynn as SVP Social Video

July 14, 2026 by TVA Editor

Zoo 55, part of ITV Studios, has announced the appointment of a new SVP Social Video, Diane Glynn, an award-winning social media and digital transformation leader. She joins the business from Channel 4 where she was Head of Social, having led the broadcaster’s social strategy and YouTube expansion. The new and pivotal role will drive significant revenue growth across ITV Studios 100,000+ hour library of formats and non-scripted/scripted IP.\

As SVP Social Video, Diane joins the ITV Studios digital label’s senior leadership team, taking responsibility for shaping and executing the strategic vision for content monetisation across all social video platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat and other emerging platforms.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Zoo 55, Martin Trickey and working closely with COO, Graham Haigh, the role will focus on maximising existing channel performance and delivering new channels and revenue streams across all platforms, with a focus on YouTube.

Diane will also support the delivery of ITV network’s YouTube portfolio.

Martin Trickey, Managing Director, Zoo 55, said “We are so excited for Diane to be joining Zoo 55. She did an incredible job in her previous roles and her experience and passion will be invaluable as we continue to grow.”

Speaking of her appointment Diane Glynn said, “I’m delighted to be joining Zoo 55. The opportunity to drive audience growth, brand value and commercial returns from ITV’s world-class IP is incredibly exciting, and I look forward to helping shape the next chapter for the business”.

Diane is a multi award-winning digital media executive with a proven track record of driving audience growth, commercial innovation and organisational transformation across some of the UK’s leading broadcasters and media businesses.

Most recently as part of 4Studio’s SLT Diane played a pivotal role in building Channel 4’s social division from the ground up. She led the development of a multi-platform growth strategy that transformed how Channel 4 reaches and engages digital audiences, delivering tens of millions of pounds in new revenue streams through digital initiatives. Under her leadership, Channel 4 doubled its YouTube channel portfolio and significantly increased platform revenues in less than a year. Diane championed a pioneering long-form digital strategy, launched award-winning digital-first content, and delivered a number of industry firsts, including becoming the first UK Public Service Broadcaster on TikTok and Spotify.

Prior to her tenure at Channel 4, Diane held leadership positions including Head of Content Partnerships at ITV, Head of Content at Comic Relief, and Executive Producer for the BBC’s The Voice UK Digital. Her career also includes agency experience, having led strategic content initiatives for major clients at Publicis and GroupM, where she honed her expertise in shaping content that cuts through across TV, digital, social and mobile platforms.
