CBC has announced the launch of the Q with Tom Power free ad-supported streaming channel, featuring award-winning, in-depth conversations with arts and entertainment A-listers and rising stars. The new FAST channel is available now in Canada on CBC Gem and the Q with Tom Power YouTube Channel. The channel, boasting Q’s vast catalogue of in-depth conversations, joins CBC’s entertainment portfolio of FAST channels including CBC Comedy, Heartland, Murdoch Mysteries, and Schitt’s Creek. 

“Tom’s interviews already capture millions of viewers and listeners across CBC Radio, YouTube and podcast platforms, and engage millions more on Instagram and TikTok. Bringing Q into the FAST space introduces Canada’s premier arts and entertainment archive to a whole new audience while offering existing fans a 24/7, binge-worthy experience,” said Jennifer Dettman, Executive Director, Unscripted Content, CBC.

Featuring star-studded guests from around the world, the Q with Tom Power FAST channel showcases more than 450 interviews in a one-of-a-kind collection of conversations with key artists and Canadian-exclusive interviews. Audiences are invited to catch up on interviews with Adele, Jully Black, Celine Dion, Jeremy Dutcher, Dua Lipa, Mae Martin, Catherine O’Hara, Matthew Perry, Chappell Roan, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Harry Styles, Shania Twain, Denzel Washington, Steven Yeun and more.

St. John’s, N.L.-born musician and broadcaster Power joined CBC as host of the folk music show Deep Roots at the age of 21, making him the youngest host of a national radio show since Peter Jennings. He was named the host of Q in 2016, and since then has won the Gold Tower for Best Interview at the New York Festivals Radio Awards for his conversations with Mick Jagger (2024), Bono (2023) and Michael J. Fox (2021), and recently won the Silver Tower for his interview with Judd Apatow (2026).
