Profuz Digital CEO reports Increased Growth & Leading AI Media Workflow Innovation for 2026

January 15, 2026 by TVA Editor

“Embracing a new year, we can reflect positively on the accomplishments achieved at Profuz Digital over the course of 2025. Profuz Digital’s range of solutions include media asset management system Profuz LAPIS and SubtitleNEXT,  that manage subtitles, dubbing and localization services for media content including coordination of teams of translators, subtitlers, AV professionals, creative freelancers, while providing users with powerful toolsets in a secure workspace environment.

Central to Profuz Digital’s ongoing success is our commitment to rolling technical development and innovation, ensuring customers are kept up to date with the very latest features. After maintaining steady growth, significant developments were made across our product line –  SubtitleNEXT and the Profuz LAPIS digital media management system.

Firmly situated at the forefront of innovation in AI media workflows, Profuz LAPIS was further enhanced with powerful new features and an expanding customer base, resulting in regular updates and new functionalities that benefit both existing and future clientele.

Profuz LAPIS is a sophisticated platform that orchestrates AI-powered tasks. LAPIS intelligently choreographs an organisation’s entire workflow by distributing and coordinating tasks across multiple AI processing engines.

Expanding on our live subtitling offering, key technological milestones over the course of 2025 included the release of five new versions of the SubtitleNEXT software platform, tailored to meet new market dynamics that customers face. SubtitleNEXT is now abundant with advanced capabilities for automatic transcription, translation processing, and other brand new features and vital tools, specifically designed to give broadcasters and subtitlers a competitive edge to deliver efficient and accurate results.

SubtitleNEXT has a modular design and is fully equipped with a creative suite of toolsets bringing flexibility to subtitling. Our continuous focus is on how our software can adapt to each customer’s unique way of working. By investing in SubtitleNEXT, organisations place themselves in the best position to capitalise on next-generation technologies to stay ahead and ensure messaging remains accessible and inclusive.

The organisations selecting our technology is indicative of the respect we have earned. We make a concerted effort to hear concerns and deliver accordingly.

Our customer-base continues to expand within the UK and EMEA regions, across multiple markets in the broadcast, production, localization, education and corporate sectors. Throughout the year, we carried out several important and confidential projects with big brand European broadcasters with ventures that involved adding new channels and more. In addition, we worked on vital projects for localization teams and global broadcasters, attracting new clients in the process, such as Proximus Media House in Belgium. PMH delivers bilingual content for Proximus’ platforms and channels, including On Demand and Live Sports broadcasting productions such as the UEFA Champions League football in Belgium.

We maintain unwavering and well-established relationships with existing clients around the globe, by providing regular updates and dedicated support to loyal customers such as Canal+ France, Council of Europe, Bulgarian National Radio, Bulgarian National Television, Leinhäuser Language Services, EMG, KU Leuven University, Ghent University, IT Pros Subtitling, Wilco Media, Polsat, Doli Media Studio, HD Media, and many others.

We are proud of our wide partner network and secured new partnerships with various NGOs. The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria chose Profuz Digital as a Special Technical Partner last year and relies on our live subtitling services using SubtitleNEXT for high-profile events, including conferences with NATO.

We continue to support the industry with technology they can rely on, helping broadcasters remain at the top of their game, by  providing flexible, efficient, and dependable platforms. The Profuz Digital team continues to showcase our innovations at various events, as we understand the importance of visibility and connecting with industry professionals and building new relationships.

We exhibited at IBC2025 in Amsterdam with even more visitors than previous years, including new deals closed already after the show. The demand for product demonstrations was a positive indication of how our technology is valued and drawing interest.

We have realised a more than 30% year-to-year turnover increase in the last 3 years. Our expectation for the year ahead is to further widen our partnership network and customer-base within the EMEA region and further monetize investments made from our intensive product development last year.

Real innovation involves listening and understanding goals. It entails envisaging requirements and providing the appropriate technology. Our aim as a team at Profuz LAPIS is to consistently refine the capabilities in our software platforms and stay true to our user-focused approach in everything we do.

We are getting off to a good start already and  look forward to  delivering yet another successful year in 2026, by supporting existing and new customers with cutting-edge technology that outshines their competitors and brings them creativity and success.”
