
Leading kids’ entertainment specialist CAKE has announced a number of deals with partners in Asia.
Agreements finalised by CAKE’s Director of Sales Julien Farçat include in China, partnering with Beijing TFF on preschool nature discovery series Tiny Wonders and tween action Robin Hood adventure Sherwood; Shanghai Senyu acquired Jamie Oliver’s son Buddy’s culinary series Cooking Buddies; Youkou picked up two seasons of Malaysian superhero series Mechamato and Newnot Studio acquired the second season of space series Ready Jet Go!
In Hong Kong, PCCW bought the latest series from the Talking Tom franchise, Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super, non-dialogue slapstick comedy Cracké Family Scramble and Lilly Singh’s wellbeing series The Mindful Adventures of Unicorn Island. They will also broadcast the 3D animated series Moley, as part of a distribution deal with Bomanbridge. RTHK acquired seasons 3 and 4 of hit New Zealand stop motion series Kiri and Lou and a second season of multi-award-winning adventure comedy Mush-Mush & The Mushables.
In Malaysia, Juita Viden picked up two seasons of pre-school hit Yoko.
