by

ZEE5 Global unveiled the trailer of its upcoming Tamil original series Sattamum Neethiyum, a compelling courtroom drama that promises to leave a lasting impact with its emotional intensity and social relevance. The series will stream on ZEE5 Global, the world’s leading platform for South Asian content, available in 190+ countries.
Packed with powerful performances, gripping court sequences, and emotionally charged confrontations, the series is set to premiere on July 18 exclusively on ZEE5 Global. Sattamum Neethiyum is directed by debutant Balaji Selvaraj and produced by Sasikala Prabhakaran under the banner of 18 Creators. Known for its bold and socially conscious storytelling, Tamil ZEE5 Global continues its streak of original hits following shows like Vinugama, Ayali, and Koose Munusamy Veerappan.
The series marks the much-anticipated comeback of actor Saravanan in a lead role after 15 years, coinciding with the celebration of his 35-year journey in Tamil cinema. Portraying a layered and intense character, Saravanan’s performance in the trailer has already struck a chord with viewers. Joining him is Namritha MV, playing a fiery and determined character who adds emotional gravitas to the narrative.
Actor Saravanan said, “When I first heard the idea of Sattamum Neethiyum, it struck a deep chord with me. It wasn’t just another courtroom drama, it was a bold and socially relevant narrative that had something important to say. The story speaks about the strength of the common man, about standing up when it’s easier to stay silent. I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of this journey. After 15 years, returning in such a powerful role is incredibly special, and I’m grateful to director Balaji Selvaraj for trusting me with it, and to ZEE5 Global for backing stories that truly matter. I believe this series will move people emotionally and make them reflect. That’s the kind of storytelling we need more of.”
Lloyd Xavier, Zee5 Business Head – Tamil and Malayalam and Sr Vice President South Marketing, shared, “At ZEE5 Global, we constantly strive to champion stories that are not only entertaining but also socially significant. With Sattamum Neethiyum, we found a narrative that delves into the very fabric of justice, truth, and the courage it takes to stand alone. This series is about giving voice to those often unheard, and we are proud to present it as part of our Tamil originals slate. It’s a compelling and emotionally resonant work that will undoubtedly strike a chord with viewers across generations. We look forward to audiences discovering the depth and strength of this story on July 18.”
