Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of content powerhouse Banijay Entertainment, has announced that modelling competition reality series The Face is returning to Thailand after a six-year hiatus.
Produced by Bangkok-based Kantana, The Face will premiere on Thailand’s leading free-to-air channel, Channel 3 on 19th July. The Face franchise previously ran in Thailand for eight seasons from 2014-2019, with iterations including The Face Thailand Men and The Face Thailand All-Stars.

After six years off-air, we’re beyond pleased to secure its return and help delight viewers new and old alike.”

The Face sees three successful fashion icons lead a team of aspiring young models, each competing to become The Face of a well-known brand. Each week a major brand hands out a shoot, runway show or commercial and each supermodel coaches their models through the process with one winner. The two ‘losing’ supermodels each select one model from their team to go up for elimination, with the winning supermodel deciding who to cut from the competition. Only one model can win the life-changing prize of becoming The Face and ambassador of a leading beauty brand.
The Face is an Endemol Shine North America format, created by Shine America and first launched in the US in 2013. It has aired in five markets in total: the US, UK, Australia, Thailand and Vietnam.
