Manish Subramanian, an experienced solutions architect with expertise in designing, implementing and testing of cloud-based, on-premises and hybrid solutions and over 15 years in the broadcast industry, has joined Magna Systems & Engineering as Technical Lead.

Subramanian is known within the industry for his expertise in designing end-to-end workflows including live production, asset management, playout and content delivery at enterprise scale. He also has a strong history in streamlining complex broadcast workflows by integrating legacy systems with modern cloud-based infrastructure and SAAS products.

Over the course of his career he has championed the adoption of emerging technologies including cloud-native tools, IP-based workflows and virtualisation and acted as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, aligning technical solutions with strategic business goals. He is also skilled in translating business and technical requirements into scalable, secure and high availability architectures, tailored for 24/7 broadcast environments.

Most recently Subramanian enjoyed considerable success as Solutions Architect for Grass Valley Australia and as a Broadcast Engineer for Sky News Australia.

Magna Group CEO Matthew Clemesha said, “Manish is a very valuable addition to the Magna team with his proven history as a Technical Lead managing opportunity identification, post-sales support and product feedback coordination. He also has a successful track record in building long lasting client relationships, driving retention, repeat business and revenue growth. Manish is also a strong communicator, effective at bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, whilst delivering creative solutions to complex challenges. As such he brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He is a great fit within the Magna Systems group.”

In his role as Magna’s Technical Lead Subramanian will understand customer requirements and deliver customised cloud-based broadcast media solutions. His day-to-day responsibilities include staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies through thorough market research whilst building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders. He will also provide in-depth technical support during pre-sales and post-sales engagements, conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and training sessions to showcase the benefits of Magna’s IP and cloud solution offerings.”

Magna has been providing best-of-breed technology and solutions for its customers in the broadcast and telecommunications industries for over 50 years.

With that in mind Manish Subramanian said, “Magna Systems constantly takes the lead in terms of products, solutions and trends. It is a forward-looking group that is very much expanding its offering in IP and cloud solutions. I’m delighted to have joined such an exciting place to work at such a pivotal time for our industry.”
