International sales agent Incredible Film has announced a new distribution deal with global entertainment company Plaion, which will distribute the new romantic drama Red Flags across Italy.

The film, which topped the box office across the Netherlands in April, drawing in young adult audiences with its s breakout talents Kes van den Broek (The Voice of Holland), Danny Dorland (After Hours, Onopgelost) and Sophie Bouquet (First Kiss, swapID),follows a free-spirited traveller on her gap year, who finds herself swept off her feet by the enigmatic Fender.

What begins as a whirlwind romance soon turns complicated as Tess starts to uncover troubling red flags that force her to question their relationship. Red Flags is directed by Lodewijk van Lelyveld whose credits include The Fault in Our Stars. Red Flags will be screened at this year’s Marché du film.

Incredible Film continues to build a curated lineup of dynamic and accessible feature films with strong international appeal, working closely with global buyers to bring the films to new audiences.

The slate for Marché du film includes the new romcom Out of Luck which is partly set at Cannes Film Festival and heartwarming family drama Running for Love. Both films will be screened at the festival. The slate underscores Incredible Film’s commitment to identifying distinctive storytelling, and delivering genre films that perform on a worldwide stage.
