Nickelodeon head Mark Taylor joins God’s Gang board

May 13, 2024 by TVA Editor

God’s Gang Ltd., the production company behind animation series God’s Gang led by former Disney Channels executive Nimrod Avraham May, today announces the addition of Mark Taylor, former Nickelodeon Senior Vice President, DreamWorks Head of Physical Production and Sony Pictures Animation VP Production to its advisory board.

Taylor joins the board alongside Bruce Daitch, former COO and CFO of DreamWorks Animation and VP of Animation at Netflix, Sheri Conn, former Vice President of Marketing at Disney and Head of Worldwide Television Brand Marketing at DreamWorks Animation, and Bruno Zarka, President of Distribution and Co-Production for Toonz Media Group.

Taylor’s role on the board will involve overseeing timelines, deliveries and quality processes of new episodes that are currently in production, as well the development and production of future episodes.

God’s Gang Ltd., founded by Nimrod Avraham May, is the entertainment company behind a series that itself aims to promote peace, unity and shared values between people, regardless of their religious beliefs. The series brings together four extraordinary martial arts heroes from Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Judaism who go on hilarious adventures for audiences aged 9-19. The 13-minute pilot has already gained huge momentum online, amassing over one million subscribers to their YouTube channel and more than 3 million views worldwide.

This new appointment will allow the team to develop further episodes for the 1,000,000+ online community with the aim of releasing the series on terrestrial television in future.

The God’s Gang production team includes director Ehud Landsberg (Transformers: Cyberverse, Vampirina) and writer Rob Kutner (five-time Emmy, Grammy, and Peabody Award winner; Conan O’Brien, The Daily Show, Angry Birds, Ben 10).

The series is created by Nimrod Avraham May, former Marketing Exec at Disney Channels, whose vision was brought to life by the team at Infinite Frameworks in Singapore.

Mark Taylor states, “Joining God’s Gang is a thrilling opportunity to contribute to the creation of meaningful content that transcends boundaries and promotes unity among diverse audiences. I’m excited to collaborate with such a talented team and help drive the success of this groundbreaking series.”

Nimrod Avraham May, creator of God’s Gang adds, “It gives me great joy to bring one of the finest producers of animated series in the world to the God’s Gang family. Mark’s invaluable industry experience will not only play a pivotal role in steering the commercial success of the series, but also further develop future episodes so we can continue to promote peace and unity around the world through our unique animated content.”
