Led by Producer Amie Casey, Red Empire Productions has launched their premier Australian science-fiction podcast series, Interface: The Creator’s Champion with post-production house Soundvision GC and distribution mogul Organic Media Group.
The audio production follows the story of twenty-something tech genius Wyatt, who is abducted and coerced into competing in the illicit Circuit Games for a clandestine team led by the fierce and beautiful Frey alongside Jasper, a man dangerously trained in military combat who struggles with PTSD. The story features themes of near-future esports and military biotechnology with a focus on interwoven global storylines and complex characters and boasts custom music and animation.
With five episodes of the podcast’s first season already available, the series consistently charts in the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Narration is by Charles Jazz and Ellie Popov who will star in the upcoming television series.
Amie Casey, who also directs the audio production says, “The story of Interface was originally developed as a television series which was greenlit, then unfortunately halted during the Great Covid Lockdown. We decided to make an innovative move to diversify the IP into a 3-part literary series and podcast series which has since garnered a welcoming audience”.
The team behind the series includes partnering producer Roberto Merlini SoundVision GC, Executive Producers Steve Chicorel and Shari Hemrick-Grewal Organic Media Group and Wade Boyes with Co-Producers Thomas Cramsie and Alexandra Contis. Amie Casey, Ellie Popov and Simon Kennedy Safe Harbour have written the production.
Executive Producer Steve Chicorel comments, “the diversification of Interface has opened exciting doors for the television series format, including the boarding of the incredible Director, Carl Seaton (Bel-Air, Godfather of Harlem) and a high calibre international cast”.
