Having captured the Annual Individual Viewer Ratings Triple Crown title for the 12th consecutive year in 2022 and having already announced seven scripted format deals for Turkey, Nippon TV, Japan’s leading multiplatform entertainment powerhouse, announced today that FOX Turkey is set to start airing Taçsız Prenses, the Turkish version of its hit series Without Family, on January 10th, 2023. Produced by MF Yapim, one of the leading production companies in Turkey and written by the scriptwriters of “Mucize Doktor/A Miracle” (Turkish version of Good Doctor), the title “Taçsız Prenses” means “crownless princess” in Turkish.
Without Family became a phenomenon in Japan when it aired on Nippon TV and went on to become a feature film grossing over 1 billion yen, followed by a successful second season on Nippon TV. The format was also adapted into games, novels, and comic books. The final episode received record breaking ratings and the child star gained national popularity, lasting until this day. This is the first time that the title has been adapted as a scripted format.

Nippon TV, Medyapim and MF Yapim have announced seven deals to date: Mother, Woman -My Life for My Children-, My Son, OASIS -a love story-, Abandoned, Mr. Hiiragi’s Homeroom, and I’m Mita, Your Housekeeper. (period is included in the title).
Nippon TV’s Mother and Woman –My Life for My Children- (Anne and Kadin in Turkey, Spanish titles are Madre and Mujer) were also produced by MF Yapim and Medyapim and air in many countries around the world, creating a phenomenon wherever it airs. Mother is ranked as the most exported scripted format out of Asia to the world, according to research by K7 Media.
