tvN Asia’s latest 24-hour express drama – Her Private Life (她的私生活) – starring Kim Jae-wook (金材昱) and Park Min-young (朴敏英), will premiere on tvN in Asia from 11 April (Every Thursday and Friday) at 21:45 (GMT+8) in Singapore and Malaysia, and at 20:45 (GMT+7) in Indonesia.
Her Private Life follows the romance between art gallery curator, Sung Suk-mi (Park Min-young) and her boss, Ryan Gold (Kim Jae-wook). At work, Suk-mi is very hard working and obedient, but secretly, she is a fangirl of Cha Shi-ahn (ONE) and manages a popular fan site.
Playing against Park, Kim Jae-wook took the role of a cold and harsh director of an art gallery who used to be a talented artist. “I think Her Private Life is the perfect drama for spring, the season of love. We all have become obsessed with something at one point in our life. Seeing Suk-mi and her friends obsess over an idol will recall those moments of audience’s past, or even current state”, remarked Kim.
In the recently released teasers of Her Private Life, audience will be amazed by the main cast’s impeccable portrayal of their characters. Park Min-young transforms from an office lady-look in What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim to a fangirl who dresses in all-black with a mask and hat.
She perfectly captures the essence of a fangirl showing her 200% satisfaction after successfully taking photos of her idol from afar with a professional camera. While the handsome and cool-looking Kim Jae-wook, whose character shows no interest in idol previously, suddenly joins the fandom. His surprising engagement in a fandom has created a huge contrast from his serious character.
Her Private Life will broadcast on tvN in Asia from 11 April (Every Thursday and Friday) at 21:45 (GMT+8) in Singapore and Malaysia, and at 20:45 (GMT+7) in Indonesia. The drama is paired with English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia subtitles.
