Global content creator, producer and distributor, Endemol Shine Group, announced the appointment of Kasia Jablonska as Head of Digital Distribution & Monetisation.
Kasia will join Endemol Shine in April, reporting into the Group Director of Commercial Operations, Yannick Ferrero. She will beresponsible for building on the success of Endemol Shine Group’s VOD, AVOD, SVOD, PPV and Electronic Sell-Through businesses, maximising the value of the Group’s content across these areas. Kasia will also lead the Group’s digital distribution strategy globally and in local markets, identifying emerging platforms and new opportunities for growth.
Kasia joins Endemol Shine Group from media strategy consultancy firm MK&K Consultants, which she founded in 2018. Previous positions include senior commercial and affiliate sales roles at Scripps Networks, A+E Networks and NBC Universal.
Endemol Shine Group’s digital content attracts significant global audiences, averaging over 3 billion monthly video views across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube alone.
The Group’s digital team are responsible for licensing and self-publishing content and curated channels across digital platforms. They partner with a variety of platforms to showcase their catalogue of content beyond linear, from YouTube to Facebook, TikTok, Amazon, Roku and Xumo to name a few. The digital team works closely with distribution arm Endemol Shine International to maximise opportunities across the Group’s deep content library which contains more than 100,000 hours of programming.
Endemol Shine Group’s digital team have recently launched a number of successful genre-based channels such as Reel Truth which features factual documentaries and series from around the world. The Group are also seeing success on emerging platforms including TikTok where brands such as Simon’s Cat and Mr Bean are finding significant new audiences with each attracting more than 500k fans since joining the platform in January. And Mr Bean continues to amass huge audiences across multiple platforms globally, with more than 83 million page likes on Facebook and surpassing 12 million fans on official YouTube channels.
