Talpa and Acun Medya signed a multi-season deal to produce The Voice and The Voice Senior for TV Azteca in Mexico. With this deal, Mexico will be the first Latin American country to acquire the successful spin-off format The Voice Senior. The heartwarming show, featuring fascinating elderly with amazing voices, is bringing in fantastic ratings in Europe. With Mexico, The Voice Senior is now licensed to seven countries since its launch last August. The 8th season of The Voice of Mexico is slated to air in March 2019 on Azteca Uno, followed by the premiere of The Voice Senior.
Since the start of Exatlon in 2018, TV Azteca and Acun Medya have been in a long-term collaboration to support Azteca’s new strategy of live TV. The two companies are delivering many new programs to the Mexican audience, with the aim of bringing them the best content.
