Singapore – HBO Asia’s first Mandarin Original series, The Teenage Psyhic (通靈少女), received 2 wins at the 52nd Annual Golden Bell Awards that was held in Taiwan. The six hour-long-episode coming-of-age series has won in the Best Mini-Series (TV Movie) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Mini-Series (TV Movie) categories.

The Teenage Psychic (通靈少女) premiered in April this year and received positive ratings throughout its broadcast. Shot on location in Taiwan, the series was directed by29-year-old rising Taiwanese writer-director, Chen Ho-Yu (陳和榆). The series was also jointly developed with Taiwanese broadcaster, Public Television Service (PTS) and award-winning Singaporean production company, InFocus Asia.
