Greg Johnson has been promoted to Executive Vice President, EMEA & Americas, ITV Studios Entertainment (ITVS GE). Johnson’s expanded remit will see him lead the EMEA sales team in addition to his existing role overseeing Americas distribution. He continues to report to Ruth Berry, Managing Director, ITVS GE.
Johnson joined ITVS GE in 2013 and has since led a team that doubled the size of the Americas distribution business, closing deals such as Hulu’s commission of Harlots, the Amazon acquisition of Mammoth Screen’s forthcoming Vanity Fair plus PBS Masterpiece’s co-production agreements for the hit series Victoria and Poldark.

Johnson added: “I am incredibly excited to enter into this new role and expanded remit, building upon the strong relationships the EMEA Sales team already have and finding additional paths of ensuring the widest possible distribution and global audience for our producing partners’ wonderful content.”
Before joining ITVS GE Johnson was Senior Vice President, Factual Sales & Co-Productions, BBC Worldwide Americas. He was appointed to BBC WW in 2010 initially taking responsibility for the distributor’s factual sales and co-production business in the US. Previously Johnson was Vice President, Sales for Disney Media Distribution, Asia Pacific.Johnson will relocate to London and take-up his expanded role in January.
