Museum of Me, pitched by screenwriter Shiri Zuck, won yesterday first place at Formagination 7, Armoza’s annual Formats Pitch Competition. Zuck pitched her dating show to the international jury and the audience, along with 5 other finalists, and will now receive Formagination’s first place prize of a development and distribution contract with Armoza Formats and up to $25,000 to produce the format.

The event was held during the TLV Formats Conference and organized by Armoza Formats and Israel Export Institute. The esteemed panel of judges included Fabrizio Battocchio – Head of Formats at Mediaset Italy, Bence Trunkó – Creative Director at Paprika Latino Hungary, Lisa Shiloach Uzrad Head of Television at Israel’s Public Broadcaster Corporation, Mira Geshel – Content Manager at Israel Export Institute and Avi Armoza – CEO and Founder of Armoza Formats.

 

The runner-up prize of a scholarship to the prestigious international Entertainment Master Class seminar went to Shaul Betser and Hila Bashan, who pitched Chill a coaching show, while Daniella Doron won the people’s vote with Freeze a studio entertainment format. Formagination was hosted this year by Israeli journalist Udi Segal.
