London And Toronto – Hot on the heels of two Canadian Screen Award wins, Toronto-based LaRue Entertainment’s acclaimed digital series The Amazing Gayl Pile is now streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in the UK, Germany and Japan.

Back on home soil, CBC recently renewed the series for a fourth season with streaming beginning in Winter 2018.The winner of two Canadian Screen Awards for Best Original Scripted Series and Best Direction for a Program Produced for Digital Media, the oddball comedy is an original for NBCUniversal’s Seeso in the US, and CBC Comedy in Canada.

The Amazing Gayl Pile is one man’s misguided quest to conquer the world of home shopping. Gayl Pile (Morgan Waters) ekes out a living as a host on the Shop At Home Channel, but Gayl’s world gets turned upside-down when he meets Australian beauty expert, JD Castlemane (Andy King), who shows Gayl just how fun, sexy, and dangerous product selling can be. The third season featured guest performances from Mad Men’sJon Hamm and 30 Rock’s Jack McBrayer, and was executive produced by Paul Scheer (The League), Brooks Gray (co-creator), Morgan Waters (co-creator), Matt King, Andrew Ferguson, Tinu Sinha, Becca Kinskey and Tom Spriggs. LaRue Entertainment produces the series and distributes together with the London-based distributor Limonero Films.
