POPS Worldwide appoints Chief Revenue Officer

May 30, 2017 by TVA Editor

Ho Chi Minh City – POPS Worldwide has named Sarika Tulsyan to the newly-created role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Ms. Tulsyan will be responsible for maximizing revenue across the company’s popular owned and partner channels on YouTube, Facebook, Daily Motion and its growing stable of connected applications. She will lead the company’s effort to drive existing monetization streams and develop new revenue opportunities across Southeast Asia – markets that include Vietnam, and Thailand. Ms. Tulsyan will be based out of the POPS Thailand office in Bangkok.
With more than 15 years of experience in the media and digital industry, Ms. Tulsyan joins POPS most recently from Starcom (part of Publicis Groupe) where she was Regional Director – MENA. Ms. Tulsyan has held senior positions in the Asia-Pacific region and drove digital capabilities for key clients. She has worked in Dubai, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, and Mumbai with brand partners that include P&G, GM, GE, Richemont Group and Tencent.
“I am excited to be joining a team with a strong commitment to creating and distributing premium digital entertainment. The POPS team are pioneers in the market having built a premium content platform from scratch to now over 2 billion monthly views in multiple markets and platforms. Innovative brands in Southeast Asia are looking for articulate ways to express their unique brand stories. POPS has the loyal and desirable audience that brands have the opportunity to connect with in Southeast Asia’s evolving media market,” commented Ms. Tulsyan.

Esther Nguyen, founder and CEO of POPS Worldwide, noted “Sarika’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has made her a key addition to our senior leadership team. This is a sign of our strong commitment to transforming the digital entertainment experience for viewers and brands in SEA. Our content distribution and original programming expertise coupled with strong demand from brand clients led us to look for someone who fits with our ethos of innovation and exceptional service. It is very fortunate that we were able to find someone of Sarika’s caliber and experience to fulfill this role. I’m confident that Sarika will play a key role in fulfilling our revenue goals by being a strong advocate for brands across our expansive digital network.”
