Berlin – Quintus Media has inked a deal with TV network Discovery Science for the pop science series Evil Knows! – In The Name of Science. Discovery Science has picked up exclusive TV rights for the recently completed series for over 100 countries including the territories of Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, the Benelux, the Middle East and Africa.

Produced by German factual specialist MAXIMUS FILM, Evil Knows! – In The Name of Science follows one of the craziest guys alive – “Evil” Jared Hasselhoff, the bass player of the US-rock band Bloodhound Gang on a search for momentous quests, myths and phenomena from daily life.  The show features crazy experiments in various categories – very often with “Evil” in the crash test dummy seat – from all around the world.

Each episode comprises six different scientific (in an Evil-sense) categories such as ‘Evil Reveals’ where he explains and answers some of life’s questions with several spectacular experiments, which involve helicopters, jet fighters, horses and other 21st Century ‘boys’ toys.  Other categories include ‘Shot Check’ where he sends his team out to find the true stories behind odd pictures or videos from the Internet or ‘Human Heroes’ where he visits extraordinary personalities from all over the world and in ‘Unbreakable’ Evil tests whether products actually live up to their producer’s claims of being unbreakable. ….  Evil Knows! is funny, crazy, outrageous and most definitely TV entertainment at its best.
