Berlin – Dynamic Television announced it has named seasoned executive Tasja Abel as Vice President of Acquisitions, Sales & Co-Productions. Abel comes to Dynamic from ZDF Enterprises, where she served in key positions such as VP Drama, overseeing the team on all acquisitions and development as well as handling international sales. She will report to Klaus Zimmermann, Managing Partner of Dynamic Television, and will be based in Berlin.

Abel spent eight years with the ZDF Group in a variety of high-level posts. Since joining in 2008, she served as Vice President of Drama, spearheading third party acquisitions, development partnerships and sales of scripted content, and was Manager of Co-Production and Development Drama, where she oversaw co-productions and presales for English, German and Scandinavian speaking territories. Production highlights of Abel’s include overseeing the collaboration for such crime series as “Talking to the Dead” by Gwyneth Hughes for Sky Living and produced by Bonafide/Warp films as part of a first look deal with Bonafide Films. She also served as executive producer on titles including “Arne Dahl,” “The Bridge,” “Inspector Beck” and the upcoming psychological thriller “Tabula Rasa” written by Sarah Malin Gozin.
