Armoza Formats’ new prime time reality competition Curvy Supermodel has now been picked up in Poland by media group company Rochstar (The Voice of Poland and Dancing with the Stars).
The down-to-earth modelling competition also picked up in the Netherlands by Tuvalu Media, started airing two weeks ago on Germany’s RTL2. The show’s premiere beat its direct competition, raising the channel’s average by 40% in the 14-49 demos and increasing the share from the previous timeslot by 33%, with the second episode continuing to perform strongly.
Produced by Tresor TV, Curvy Supermodel is the prime time reality competition that will change how we define beauty, in a nationwide casting show that searches for the face of the future – with power, style and curves. Only the best will be selected out of thousands looking to find a place in the tough and discriminative modelling industry, and will confront their issues and face challenges that will prepare them for their career. An expert jury will mentor them and choose who has what it takes to continue to the next episode. We’ll accompany them on their inspiring journeys, and while all will defy society’s stereotype, only one will win the title and the modelling contract.
Rinke Rooyens, CEO of Rochstar states, “It’s fantastic to be part of the change of how beauty is defined through this new prime time reality competition. We are confident that broadcasters will love it as viewers can easily identify with the participants and their problems, recovering the confidence of the way they look… because curvy is beautiful!”
