Is Singapore your first market on the list?
Singapore is not only the first in Asia but global. We felt that Singapore is one of the most connected markets with incredibly fast broadband speeds, which is really good for online video. Mobile penetration is through the roof, where everybody has multiple devices. We’re all still learning in this space. We like to launch in a market where we can rapidly deploy this service, learn from it and constantly innovate. We have a road map of innovations that we want to introduce into this digital space. In a sense, our experience in Singapore will really help.
Asia is evolving very fast and the time is right to be launching innovative and different digital products in this market, rather than others that may be more mature, haven’t made the leap yet or have gone already. In the U.S., we’re thinking of launching a slightly different service, but this authenticated service really makes sense in Singapore.
