Rome- RAI Com will present a slew of new exciting titles in various formats at this year’s MIPTV. Core offerings include two new episodes of ever-popular series Detective Montalbano, Italian atmospheric detective TV show Close Murders, which is gaining increasing success worldwide.
The Ladies’ Paradise and Luisa Spagnoli are also on the slate of brand new documentaries Especially noteworthy is the strong representation of real-life and fictional women’s stories that trace the social and political changes of Italy over the last century. Titles include A Woman of Courage, Lea – Something About Me and Tango for Freedom.
Other docs engage with various aspects of the arts, such as Hand Gestures, Ossessione Vezzli and Roxanne Lowit – Magic Moment. Several feature films round out RAI Com’s catalog, such as Claudio Caligari’s posthumously released cult film Don’t Be Bad / Non essere cattivo.
