China– FremantleMedia China announced a partnership with CCTV, seeing the commission of gameshow The Eureka Moment. The FremantleMedia format will be co-developed for local audiences with CCTV’s wholly-owned subsidiary, CCTV Creation with 11 90 minutes episodes premiering on CCTV-1 in June this year.
Originally developed by Blue Circle for RTL4 in the Netherlands, The Eureka Moment is a gameshow in which two couples go head to head testing their knowledge and coming face to face with a raft of dangerous stunts and wacky experiments, all in the bid to win the holiday of a lifetime. FremantleMedia has previously worked with CCTV for formats Thank God You’re Here and Don’t Stop Me Now, which has recently been renewed for a further 52 episodes.
