CNN’s Tokyo correspondent, Will Ripley, will take a look at Japan’s innovations and creations for tomorrow which will evolve the reality of what it mean to be Made in Japan, in a special 30-minute programme.
Highlights include how Japan is testing the boundaries of the relationship between humans and technology, the global soft power and the business of entertainment characters Made in Japan. Also looking at fashion, Ripley will look at the evolution of Japanese fashion and the attainment of smart design by Japanese designers.
Ripley will search for what it means to be Made in Japan, consulting experts at companies such as Hiroshi Ishiguro Laboratories and Polygon Pictures Inc. He also seeks out fashion veteran Tiffany Godoy and designer Kunihik Morinaga.
