Inmarsat announced that the Quicklink Windws Boonded Live Software is ‘ready to use’ over its global fleet of L-band satellites.

The software is designed to enable broadcasters and other media industry professionals to compress and transmit live video over the Windows Live platform. This reduces the amount of equipment carried by broadcasters, and the solution is designed to work with multiple communication technologies such as satellite, ADSL or cellular services.
