All3media International’s formats business continues to build across Central and Eastern Europe, as new commissions and new titles are announced through its partnership with constructed reality specialists Filmpool. In addition a slate of shows from acclaimed producers such as Studio Lambert will be showcased to buyers at NATPE in Prague.

All3media International are also set to launch local adaptation rights to new constructed reality format Lawyers & Detectives (Anwälte und Detektive) at NATPE Europe, as Filmpool go into production on a new 80 episode series for RTL Germany, following its successful 10 episode pilot. Berlin Models is also due to be showcased – Filmpool’s youthful reality drama format that focuses on the lives of professional and hopeful youngsters in modelling industry. Scenes are often filmed at glitzy real-world events such as Fashion Week – allowing the audience to get close to this ultra-stylish world. The action centres around a dramatic love triangle between real life model Marc Eggers, his jealous girlfriend Sarah who works as a booker at the agency, and the gorgeous new intern Mila.

All3media International’s collaboration with Filmpool, the acclaimed independent German producer, continues to deliver a raft of new commissions throughout the CEE region. Ukraine’s ICTV has ordered a new slate of 56 episodes of a local version of constructed reality format Niedrig & Kuhnt: Detectives Investigate, which will be produced by Mamas Film. More than 1,500 episodes of this ratings-winning series, which draws viewers into the gripping world of police investigation, have already been produced by Filmpool for Germany’s Sat1.
Recreating dramatic stories of family life from true everyday events, Families at the Crossroads, originally produced for RTL Germany, has been recommissioned in the Czech Republic as Prima TV sign a second season for air later this year and in Poland as Polsat order an eleventh season. Families at the Crossroads is already in its fourth season for TV3 in Estonia and Nova TV in Bulgaria, and its fifth season for TV3 in Latvia.
Tako Media of Poland has also taken a licence to produce a brand new local version of Private Investigators in Action, which lifts the lid on the world of private investigation, for air later this year. The Filmpool format was originally commissioned for RTL Germany.
Also set to showcase at NATPE Europe is a diverse catalogue of formats from all3media group producer Studio Lambert, including new medical series Doctor in the House, originally created for the UK’s BBC1, which sees a normal family invite a doctor into their lives for one month to undergo the health MOT of a lifetime, and Trip Advisors, for ITV, which follows four very different families as they go on – and review – the same holiday.
International hit Gogglebox, originally produced for Channel 4 and already adapted for Slovenia’s Planet TV, now on their second highly successful series and in addition in Poland on TTV – again presently tx-ing series 2, will also be available, as more ‘national conversations’ featuring a cross-section of society are captured under the watchful glow of our TV screens. Be My Guest, also for Channel 4 and already adapted for Romania’s Primia TV, which goes under the covers to look at the small and boutique hotels, guest houses and pensions will also be discussed at the market.
