Singapore – The popular Korean reality series produced by the famous Na Young-Seok PD (Producer-director) has proven to be successful not only in Korea! Last week (11-17 May), the Na PD series has made Channel M ranked the 2nd among 106 paid TV channels in Singapore with target audience female aged 15-39; and ranked first with target Chinese-speaking female aged 15-39.
Na PD’s Three Meals A Day and Grandpa Over Flowers – Greece reality shows ranked as the top programmes in Channel M with highest single episode ratings at 1.467 and 1.45 respectively on 16 May. The newest installment of the Three Meals A Day – Jeongseon Village featuring LeeSeo-Jin and Ok Taecyeon of 2PM will be premiered on 6 June, together with a very strong lineup of new programmes including celebrity reality Go Go with Sisters starring famous actress Ha Ji-Won; singing variety I Can See Your Voice hosting by Lee Teuk of Super Junior; the new season’s K-Style and K Chef Battlefield; and last but not least, drama Let’s Eat starring Yoon Doo-Joon of BEAST.
A brand new look and feel of Channel M will be launched on 5 June, for sure to impress the audience with its contemporary and sleek design. A totally innovative idea of programme scheduling will be kick-started at the same time. Vertical programming on weekdays, namely “Happy Monday” filled with various variety shows; “Delicious Tuesday” with food programmes; “Starry Wednesday” with K-pop idols; “Stylish Thursday” with lifestyle contents; and “Wonderful Weekends” with all the premiere shows lining up back-to-back during weekend prime time 6:00pm–12:00 midnight (GMT+8).
