ITVBe has commissioned 10 x 1hr episodes of Keshet UK’s brand new dating format When Do You Get Off? Keshet Productions UK is already in pre-production on the series that sees budding singles dating potential suitors at their workplace.
When Do You Get Off? is an original format created by the development team at Keshet Productions UK and will be executive produced by its Head of UK Formats, Kevin Mundye and Head of Development, Simon Shalgosky.
Most people spend approximately a third of their lives at work and a person’s chosen career can say a lot about them: are they brave, athletic, creative, altruistic or pedantic? Are they power crazed or demanding? In this series, one lonely-heart will date four potential suitors at their workplace – be they a baker, dentist, banker or zoo keeper – to learn what they might really be like as a partner and in the hope to find love. After two full days of dating on the job, the singleton will decide which one they like best and meet them when they get off work. Despite the old saying ‘you should work to live, not live to work’ the fact is most people are defined by the job they do and spend more time at work than anywhere else. So, what better way of to find out who someone really is, or show someone who you really are, than to invite them in to the workplace?
Simon Shalgosky, Head of Development at Keshet Productions UK, said “It’s really exciting to see this idea come life. When Do You Get Off? is a fun, unique format that takes dating into a whole new area, revealing a side of a person that potential partners rarely get to see.”
When Do You Get Off? will air later this year on ITVBe.
