Monaco − A stellar line-up of international jury members from across the width and breadth of the television, entertainment, news, documentary and journalism worlds will convene in Monaco 13 − 18 June to decide the winners of the 55th Monte-Carlo Television Festival Golden Nymph Awards, it was announced by Laurent Puons, CEO.
The Television Films Jury members are Eric Close, President; leading actress Bo Derek (Fashion House, Ten), French actress Valérie Kaprisky (Section de Recherches, Le Secret d’Elise, Meurtres à La Rochelle) and Hiroshi Kurosaki, director and producer from NHK Japan.
The TV Series Jury will be made up of President Patrick Duffy; German actor Henning Baum (The Last Cop), Camilla Hammerich, Danish producer (Borgen), Spanish actress Nathalie Poza (Imperium, Hispaniala leyenda) and UK screenwriter and producer Jeff Pope (Cilla, Philomena).
The Mini Series Jury will consist of President Ron Perlman; Danish actor Kim Bodnia (The Bridge), French actor Bruno Wolkowitch (Les Hommes de l’Ombre, Borderline, Un Père Coupable, Meurtres à Carcassonne), actress, director and producer Emily Mortimer (The Newsroom, Doll & Em) and Alan Poul, director and producer (The Newsroom, Six Feet Under).
News Jury members, led by President Bianca Jagger, will be UK media and journalism education consultant, Fiona Chesterton; David Dieudonné, regional bureau chief at AFP France; Felipe Sahagun, journalist at El Mundo and professor of International Relations at the Complutense University of Madrid and Gardenia Trezzini, editor in chief of International News Magazines, Euronews.

For this milestone event we have brought together well-known and award-winning talent, producers and directors who, as jury members, will turn the spotlight on our international competition in Monte-Carlo, selecting the ultimate Golden Nymph Award recipients on 18 June. I would also like to thank our many pre-selection committee members for their help in producing an outstanding shortlist of nominated programmes and highlighting the best in international production through this prestigious competition.”
The Monte-Carlo Television Festival Golden Nymph Competition encompasses Television Films, TV Series, Mini Series and News and is open to all international networks, distributors and production companies. Each year, more than 40 countries are represented in the competition, with more than 50 programmes selected for nomination and final judging by international juries composed of distinguished industry professionals and leading creative and acting talent.
