Singapore – Singtel announced the launch of six channels on the newly rebranded Singtel TV, which was formerly known as SingTel mio TV. DIVA HD, E! Entertainment Television HD, HELLO! JAPAN, NHK World TV, NHK World Premium, and Toonami HD will make their appearance on the Singtel TV platform starting 30 January.
“We are pleased to welcome our first Japanese entertainment channels, alongside popular entertainment, news and kids favourites,” said Goh Seow Eng, Managing Director, Singtel TV. “To showcase our expanding programme selection, we have made these channels available for free preview to all our customers. It is part of our effort to make everyday better for our customers.”
All six channels will be made available for free to all Singtel TV customers till 5 March.
Also currently available for free preview to all customers are the recently launched TransTV and Turner channels. The three Indonesian channels – !nsert, Showcase, and Bioskop Indonesia – can be accessed till 15 February, and the Turner channels – CNN International, HLN, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Oh!K, truTV and Turner Classic Movies – till 5 March.
