Hong Kong – SmartCast has announced that it has partnered with FOX International Channels (FIC) to provide the pay TV network solutions for its Thailand broadcast operations. SmartCast will provide a localised ad insertion solution for FOX Sports 3, FOX Movies Premium HD and StarWorld as well as local playout services for Channel [V] Thailand.

Victor Chan, Vice President of Broadcast Technology Operations for Hong Kong & Southeast Asia at FOX International Channels said, “‘Localisation’ has long been part of FIC’s DNA and that includes delivering content that’s tailored for viewers in each county as well as providing targeted solutions to advertisers to reach who they want and where they want. SmartCast also has direct channel business in Asia with RTL CBS, Outdoor Channel and Cinema World.
