Los Angeles, California – MarVista Entertainment’s (MarVista), the independent producer and distributor of features and family entertainment programming, returns to Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) 2014 to present the action-adventure animated series, Heroes: Legend of The Battle Disks, to potential content partners in Asia. MarVista recently acquired the international distribution rights from Asahi Production.
MarVista will offer 26-half-hours of the new animated series, targeted to boys 4-10 years old. Heroes: Legend of The Battle Disks is directed by Masahiro Hosoda (Dragonball Z: Battle of Gods, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh) and written by Junki Takegami (Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh, Power Rangers) with character designs by Yoshihiro Nagamori (Bakugan, Yu-Gi-Oh, Beyblade). The series is produced by Kosuke Harada and Hiroaki Taneoka and by Japan’s Asahi Production (Blue Drop, Super Robot Wars Original Generation).
