Due to significant increase in demand for live streaming, Dailymotion decided to design a new live platform more scalable and reliable. For the new live platform, which is mostly developed in-house, Dailymotion required high performance streaming software with small footprint. Rigorous testing of Unified Streaming software showed that it could handle hundreds of simultaneous ingest streams under various conditions, which is one of the reasons Dailymotion chose Unified Streaming software.
