Toronto, Ontario – Corus Entertainment’s ABC Spark announced two brand new groundbreaking series set to come to the network including the scripted drama Recovery Road and docu-series from Ryan Seacrest Productions, My Transparent Life.
Based on the popular young adult novel by Blake Nelson, Recovery Road focuses on a teenage girl dealing with addiction. Royal (Easy A) and Karen DiConcetto (Ruby & The Rockits) who will also serve as executive producers alongside Craig Piligian (Abducted: The Carlina White Story) and Beth Miller (Revenge of the Bridesmaids) from Pilgrim Studios, and Danielle VonZerneck (Left to Die). Cast to be announced at a later date.
The groundbreaking new reality series My Transparent Life centres on a teenager named Ben who learns his parents are not only getting a divorce but also that his dad is becoming a woman. The series will be produced by Ryan Seacrest, Eugene Young, Rabih Gholam, and George Moll for Ryan Seacrest Productions, as well as Paul Barosse.
