Miami – La Patrona starring Aracely Arámbula, Jorge Luis Pila and Christian Bach continues captivating audiences around the world with its most recent success on ABN TV in the United Kingdom where, as the first telenovela acquired by the channel, it has become its #1 show.

Produced by Telemundo and filmed by Argos Television, La Patrona which was recently nominated by the International Emmy Awards in the Non-English Language U.S. Primetime category tells the story of Gabriela Suarez, the only woman in the San Pedro del Oro mine, whose life takes a turn after she falls for Alejandro Beltran, the eldest son of Antonia Guerra, the most powerful and feared woman of the town. The love that blossoms between them is tormented by ambition.
Suarez is unjustly locked in a detention centre where she is tortured and humiliated. Once she manages to escape, she is presumed dead. Years later she returns, transformed into Veronica Dantes, “The Boss”, who arrives determined to carry out her revenge against those who destroyed her life.
