(OTCQB:GNUS), a global brand management company dedicated to providing entertaining and enriching ‘content with a purpose’ for toddlers to tweens, announced that they have entered into an agreement with Small Screen Distribution to exclusively represent the company’s content across all media throughout Asia. The announcement was made by Andrew Berman, Senior Vice President of Global Content Sales at Genius Brands International (GBI).
Small Screen Distribution, who will report directly to Berman, is headed by veteran content distribution executive Kerry Novick, who specialises in the strategic placement of kids and family content with leading media outlets across Asia. Key GBI properties to be represented by Small Screen Distribution include the award-winning Baby Genius, Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaires Club, Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab and Stan Lee Comics, featuring its first movie, Stan Lee’s Mighty 7.

Novick established Small Screen Distribution in 2004 to provide consulting services and sales representation in Asia for top-tier children’s animation producers. She has 20 years of global program distribution experience, including five years distributing Sesame Workshop’s programming to Asia and the Americas. For ten years, Novick acted as Nelvana Enterprises’ sales representative for Australasia. On behalf of Nelvana, she established new terrestrial relationships and forged deals with new OTT platforms and delivery systems in China, India, and throughout Asia. Novick holds a master’s degree in East Asian Studies and Marketing from Cornell and is fluent in Japanese.
