Hilversum – New local versions of The Voice are now scheduled to launch before the end of this year in India and Croatia. The singing competition is currently in production for public broadcaster HRT in Croatia, whereas Zee TV will be taking The Voice to India. Other countries launching a first series of The Voice in the near future are Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
The Voice continues to be a clear-ratings success wherever it airs. After six highly successful seasons, NBC in the U.S. will be broadcasting its seventh series this year, with new high profile coaches Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani on board.
The Talpa format is proving to be stronger than ever. This past April, Eurodata TV Worldwide proclaimed The Voice the overall most successful format travelling the globe in 2013 based on an analysis of 70 territories.
