New York – History will launch in Belarus to nearly a million homes via Beltelecom on July 15. The announcement was made on July 14 by Dean Possenniskie, Managing Director, EMEA, A+E Networks.
The premiere schedule for History in Belarus includes original, top-rated franchises such as Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Counting Cars, and Mountain Men.
“We’re delighted to bring the highest quality factual entertainment to new audiences in Belarus through this partnership with Beltelecom,” said Possenniskie.
History is the number one entertainment cable network in the U.S. among men for the second consecutive year. History is a top three factual network in most markets across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. In Harris Interactive’s 2013 EquiTrend U.S. tracking study, History received the “Brand of the Year” award for factual entertainment, the second consecutive year the channel captured this title.
History is available in more than 330 million households in 160+ territories and 38 languages worldwide.
