Englewood, Colorado – Liberty Media Corporation announced on June 16 that after 19 years, David J.A. Flowers will be retiring from Liberty. Flowers joined Liberty in 1995 as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager, was named Senior Vice President and Treasurer in 2000 and Senior Vice President – Managing Director of Alternative Investments in 2011. Flowers will continue to serve Liberty as a consulting employee through the end of the year.
“We thank Dave for his many contributions to Liberty over the past two decades,” said John Malone, Liberty Chairman. “We’re sorry to see him go, but wish him all the best on his retirement and continue to look forward to his involvement with our companies as a director of Interval and a consultant with Liberty Media.”
